HORIZON WEST is the second-fastest growing area in the state of Florida. The third fastest-growing area in the country. Horizon West is located in the Southwest corner of Orange County, just north of Disney World and surrounding theme parks, west of downtown Orlando. With easy access to major highways: 429, the Florida Turnpike, 408 and I-4. You will never run out of things to do in this area.
Horizon West is comprised of 6 Villages: Hamlin – Town Center, Village of Bridgewater, Lakeside Village, Village F, Hickory Nut Village, and Village I. The villages of Horizon West are situated among the beautiful lakes in the area, allowing you to enjoy water activities and scenic views.
Once completed, each village will have a village center with a mixed-use commercial and residential space. The goal of the master plan is to bring a sense of community by organizing neighborhoods around schools, shops, offices, and restaurants. While also incorporating public parks, pedestrian-bike trails, allowing you to shop and play while leaving your car behind.
The Hamlin Town Center — The Town Center and neighborhoods are located along beautiful Lake Hancock. Waterfront living so you can dock your boat and enjoy all the lake has to offer. Hamlin’s clubhouse boasts a resort-style pool, gym and community space. Bicycle paths allow you to walk or bike from your front door to the Town center.
Village of Bridgewater
The Village of Bridgewater — Located a short distance to historic downtown Winter Garden and downtown Windermere. Also includes the Orange County National Golf Center. The village center is located within the Summerport neighborhood and consists of shops and restaurants. Village of Bridgewater has multiple lakes allowing for lakefront living with Lake Speer being the largest. Summerport, Independence and Summerlake all offer lakefront living homes.
Lakeside Village — is located just north of Disney World. Living in this village Disney fireworks are able to be seen nightly, some homes you can watch from your patio. Westside Shops is the Lakeside village center which is almost complete consisting of shops, schools, medical offices, and multiple restaurants to choose from.
Village F – Seidel — Located off Seidel Rd also has beautiful lakefront neighborhoods to choose from. New High School slated to open in 2022.
Hickory Nut Village
Hickory Nut Village — Lakefront living on Hickory Nut Lake. With easy access to the new Orlando Health Emergency/medical center, shopping, restaurants, and Disney theme parks. This village is still growing.
